Q&A with Eduardo

Q: What does a typical day in the office look like for you?
A: I begin my day early and I get coffee and set up my day, I start with my emails then I review the client trades and orders for the day and I spend some time reading market movements and headlines (this is what goes into the monthly blog post ) I also spend my days speaking with other Analyst and economist from other fund companies to gain more insight into other market information, part of the day is spent working on new financial plans for clients and analyzing data regarding financial plans. My days end in some down time where I work on longer term projects for the firm.

Q: What do you find most rewarding about your work?
A:  I enjoy the practical application of psychology and economics They say that if you try to predict what a single person is doing, they call it psychology if you try and understand what a group of people are doing it is economics. that overlap is why I started and took interest in this field.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Claremont?
A: Bert and Rockies

Q: What are you reading/watching right now?
A: Planet Money: A guide to the economic forces that shape your or watching a new anime series,

Q: What is something people might be surprised to learn about you?
A:   That I am a committee member of the CFA LA finance and ethics commission, co-chair of the financial literacy initiative, I spend my free time volunteering by providing financial literacy education.

I really enjoy helping clients feel more confident about their financial future. Whether I’m following the markets, building plans, or giving back through financial literacy work, I’m focused on making things simpler and more meaningful for the people I work with. it starts with helping clients define what they want their money to do for them. Once there’s a clear goal in place, I can help make the path forward feel simpler, more intentional, and easier to follow.
