Alyson Stark
Alyson joined Stark Wealth Management in 2020, alongside her father, Jeff, who had been a financial advisor for three decades. As a second generation family member in the industry, and a successor to the business, Alyson understands and appreciates the value of specializing in generational planning and wealth management.
Alyson’s favorite part of her job is building long-lasting client relationships and working with clients to create strategies and solutions to make their financial goals a reality. She always strives to have clients feel empowered and confident in their finances and uses her expansive knowledge of the financial industry and prior training experience to make concepts and recommendations easy to understand. In addition to investment management and portfolio advising, Alyson also leads growth and strategic initiatives for the office.
Before joining the team, Alyson led the learning and development department at a high growth start-up company that was featured on Forbes Magazine’s Next Billion Dollar Start-Up list (2019). Alyson spent the early part of her career in the education sector, as a public school teacher in New Orleans, and as a global director for Pearson, the world’s largest education company.
She is a LPL Registered Representative and holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses through LPL Financial. She graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. degree in Economics, Environmental Science, and Politics.
Alyson lives in Claremont with her husband, two toddlers- Jilly and Benji, and one wildly energetic rescue dog. Outside of work, you can find her running in the Wilderness Park, chasing her kids on the playground, or drinking her fourth cup of coffee at a local cafe.
